Pebbles Hat (and Cowl!)
Sat 2/26 & 3/12
10 am -12 pm
For the safety of our students and teachers, if you are not fully vaccinated, please let us schedule you a private Zoom class.
This beautiful, colorful hat looks complicated, but it’s a simple pattern that combines a bulky color-changing yarn with a solid worsted weight yarn to make a delightful, cozy, squishy pattern. This is a great class for beginners or for other knitters who would like to explore knitting in the round with simple colorwork. I’ll also include instructions on how to use your leftover yarn to make a matching cowl.
Instructor: Amy Wentley
Prerequisites: Know how to knit and purl.
Skills Learned: Casting on, joining in the round, working rib stitch, working slip stitches.
Materials Required: Please come in at least 15-30 minutes prior to class to purchase your supplies and have your yarn wound. To make both the hat and cowl you will need approximately 210 yds worsted weight yarn and 100 yds of bulky weight yarn. Kits for this project are available at the shop. Size 7US and US8 16” circular needles, stitch marker. You will need to purchase a copy of the hat pattern (available for purchase at the shop), and we will provide instructions for a matching cowl.
All class materials must be purchased from Warm n Fuzzy.
