You’re pretty comfortable with basic two-color brioche and wanting to up your game.  This dramatic, reversible cowl will introduce shaping (increases and decreases), chart-reading, and brioche-in-the-round. (Next stop: Arcana shawl!)

Instructor: Jean

Prerequisites:  Basic knitting skills plus some experience with simple two-color brioche

Skills learned:

  • Brioche shaping
  • chart reading
  • brioche-in-the-round.

Materials Required:

  • 2 skeins of a soft DK (like FiberStory DK), at least one of which should be a solid color and they should contrast well.
  • Size 3 US 16-inch circular needles: We won't worry too much about gauge, but if you know you knit tightly or loosely, go up or down a needle size to compensate.
  • Stitch markers, about 6, one of which should be locking.
  • Rhoda pattern, by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark (available for purchase on Ravelry or in-store)

All class materials must be purchased from Warm n Fuzzy.
