This shawl definitely qualifies as a “One-Skein Wonder.” Its dramatic shape is easily done with dropped stitches and short rows and will showcase that special ball of hand-dyed fingering weight yarn you’ve been craving.
Prerequisites: just-beyond-beginner -- comfortable with knit and purl, cast on, and bind off
Skills Learned: shawl construction, yarnovers, following a pattern
Materials Required: Approximately 1 skein (100g) of fingering weight yarn. (Just be sure it has about 420 yards per skein.) Size US 7 circulars. Gauge isn’t critical, but if your stitches are much larger than the designer’s, you might need more yarn. Copy of pattern is available for purchase in-store.
All class materials must be purchased from Warm n Fuzzy.
