VIRTUAL CLASS! Rimrock Cowl

A buttoned cowl? Genius! The ease of working flat as well as an exciting form of colorwork that is actually easier than stranded knitting because it only uses one color per row. Bold colors and cool fringe give it real pizzazz.
Instructor: Jean Carter
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills
Homework: A gauge swatch is not critical, but it’s a good idea to see how your stitches compare to the designer’s.
Skills Learned: Mosaic knitting (slipping stitches) and reading mosaic charts, a buttonhole, eyelets, fringe, Icelandic bind off.
Materials Required: Rimrock Cowl by Fogbound Knits. DK weight yarn (with good amount of contrast) and size US 5 needle. Sticky notes or highlighter tape for the charts. One button, ¾ to 1 ¼ inch, preferably with a shank.
