This is the ideal pattern to explore both working in the round and your first stranded color work project. Pattern is worked seamlessly, top-down with tapered shaping, close-fitting around the neck and lays gently around the collarbone at the bottom.

Instructor: Christina Kennedy

Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills

Homework:  Please work the beginning ribbing prior to the first class.  If you need help with this, please feel free to ask!  With contrast color and US 6, 16" needle, loosely CO 100 sts using long tail CO.  Place marker for beginning of round, and join for working in the round.  Work half-twisted Rib (*ktbl, p1* around) for 8 rounds.  If you prefer, you can work a normal 1x1 rib (*k1, p1* around).

Skills Learned: Catching floats, and color work chart in the round, M1R and M1L

Materials Required: "Adamira" pattern by Lauren Peterson (available for purchase in-store). Approximately 170 yards main color and 140 yards for contrasting color in DK-weight. We recommend solid or semi-solid colors with good contrast.  Recommended needles (gauge is not critical for this project; however if you are especially loose or tight you may need to adjust your size): 16" and 24" circular needles in size US 4 and US 6 OR 40" circular needles in sizes US 4 and US 6 if using magic loop.

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
