K101 - Introduction to Knitting

New to knitting? This is where you start. In this two-hour session, you'll learn casting on, the knit stitch, holding your needles and yarn, binding off, and weaving in your ends. You'll leave with a garter-stitch swatch and the knowledge to complete a dishcloth.

Come prepared: bring 100g of light-colored, smooth worsted weight yarn and 4–5mm needles (straight or circular), wound and ready to go.
