This is the perfect project for first time colorwork knitters! Learn to work two colors at once while making Latvian braids, Fair Isle and corrugated ribbing. This class will take the mystery out of colorwork knitting.

Instructor: Amy Wentley

Prerequisites: Beginning knitting skills

Homework: None

Skills Learned: Casting on and working in the round, working Latvian braids, Fair Isle knitting from a chart and corrugated ribbing, working small-circumference knitting on double pointed needles and making pom-poms.

Materials Required: For the project: One hank each of 2 contrasting colors Quince & Co Osprey (100% American wool, 100g/170yds). You will use approximately 150 yds of the main color and 75 yds of the contrasting color. Please also bring or purchase 2 colors of worsted-weight yarn for practice. (If you don’t have extra yarn at home, buy an additional hank of your main color yarn.) Size US 8 (5mm) 16” circular knitting needle, size US 8 (5mm) DPNs, tapestry needle, stitch markers.  You will also need to purchase the Polarized Hat pattern by Tanis Gray (you may purchase this at Warm 'n Fuzzy).

For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.
