VIRTUAL CLASS! Bonbon
Thu 11/5, 11/12, & 11/19
These classes will be held via Zoom. You will receive a link to the zoom sessions after registration.
A floppy, huggable friend for your favorite little one (or you.) No guessing about where the limbs and features go—the designer has it all figured out for you. And once you’ve done this one, the whole wonderful world of Susan Claudino’s creatures is open to you. You can use any weight of yarn, and anything from sweet solid colors to wild variegations look great. If this is your first toy, we suggest worsted weight. Once you’ve chosen your yarn, pick needles in a size 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the smallest size suggested on the ball band and suitable for your favorite style of small-circumference knitting.
Instructor: Jean Carter
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills plus some experience knitting in the round on dpn’s, Magic Loop, or 2 circulars.
Skills Learned: Toy construction, pinhole cast on, 3-needle bind off use of safety eyes.
Materials Required: Bonbon pattern by Susan Claudino, about 50 gms of a worsted wool-- washable if you plan for a little one to love it. A tiny bit of contrast for the nose and mouth. You will need some polyfill to stuff it and some safety eyes. If you don’t want to buy a whole bag of eyes, you can embroider them on. Needles, see above.
All class materials must be purchased from Warm n Fuzzy.
