Christmas in July - Mini Stockings (Knit)

This class is for intermediate knitters that are ready to learn some new skills required for sock making by working on a mini sock ornament. This project is knitted in the round on double pointed needles (DPNs), magic loop, or your favorite method for small circumference knitting.

Prerequisites:  None

Skills Learned:

• Learning new techniques and stitches: magic loop or working with DPNs, slip stitches, turning a heel, picking up stitches, SSK, and k2tog
• Reading your work
• Changing colors
• Afterthought heel
• Intermediate project: Tiny Tree Socks by Summer Lee

Materials Required:

• 3.25 mm DPNs or 40” circular needles for magic loop
• DK (3, Light) Yarn in 2-3 different colors
• The pattern recommends fingering weight yarn, which can be used with smaller needles, but DK yarn and the needles above would be more beginner friendly
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Scissors

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
