Continental Knitting Workshop - June '22

Continental knitting is a style of knitting where you hold the yarn in your left hand and "pick" the yarn with your right needle. For some people, this turns out to be a faster way to knit. Also, if you experience hand, arm or shoulder pain when knitting, this method could be less painful. The class includes a free pattern for a washcloth to practice knitting and purling using the Continental method.

Instructor: Amy Wentley

Prerequisites: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNING KNITTING CLASS. You must be very comfortable knitting and purling using another method. 

Homework: None

Skills Learned: Continental knitting and purling as well as working yarnovers.

Materials Required: Worsted-weight or Aran-weight yarn and appropriate needles for working with that yarn. Ask us if you need help choosing. You may bring your own yarn from home for this class.

Class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
