Crochet 102

This class is for those familiar with the basic crochet stitches and are ready to learn some new skills like crocheting in the round, more complex stitches, and changing colors. It’s the perfect class to follow Crochet 101.

Instructor:  Kestrel McCorkle

Prerequisites:  single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet stitches

Skills Learned:

• Review of basic stitches
• Learning new stitches: treble crochet, front and back post double crochet, and popcorn
• Reading your work
• Reading a chart
• Granny squares and changing colors
• Crocheting in the round
• Beginner to Intermediate project

Materials Required:

• 1 skein worsted weight yarn (superwash wool); Malabrigo Rios recommended.
• 5.0, 5.5, and 6 mm hooks
• Locking stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
