It’s not too early to start your summer knitting. You will enjoy knitting and wearing this simple-but-special top and will learn intarsia in the most painless way possible.

Instructor: Jean Carter

Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills including casting on and binding off, increasing and decreasing. Will need to be able to check and adjust gauge, since you will choose your needle size and pattern size before the first class.

Homework: Cast on and work 20 rows of ribbing on the smaller needle. We will begin the class with the larger needle.

Skills Learned: Very simple intarsia, German short rows, mattress seaming, 3-needle bind off, pick up and knit.

Materials Required: Pattern #03 Dolman Sleeve Tee by Yoko Hatta (available for purchase in-store). Long circular needles are recommended, but we will be working this flat and seaming it. The 16” circular is for working the neckline. You can do this by Magic Loop if you want. Worsted weight cotton such as Whimbrel or Blue Sky Organic would be great for this. Choose fresh solid colors with lots of contrast.

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
