Kids' Crochet Camp

Join us for something new and fun this summer! Kids’ Crochet Camp, for ages 9-13.

This class is for those who are new to crochet or who have just started to learn. Come learn the
basics and work on a small project in two, 2-hour sessions.

All classes and lessons must be purchased online.

Prerequisites:  None

Skills Learned:

• How to hold the yarn and hook
• Maintaining tension
• Making a slip knot
• Creating a starting chain
• Stitches: single, double, and slip stitch
• Types of yarn, weights, fibers, and notions
• How to read a simple pattern
• Weaving in ends, finishing
• Starting a project

Materials Included:

• 1 skein of Malabrigo Chunky (bulky) yarn in a light color
• US L/8.0mm Crochet hook
• Locking stitch markers
  
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Homework:  Practice between class #1 and #2

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time. Warm 'n Fuzzy reserves the right to cancel any classes if less than 3 students sign up within 24 hours of the start time. If the class is canceled by Warm 'n Fuzzy, you will be refunded.
