K401 - Fixing Mistakes in Your Knitting

Any knitter who wants to be able to identify and fix a mistake will get real, hands-on practice here. In this three-hour session, you'll learn to change a purl to a knit and a knit to a purl, fix stitch counts by making one or reducing stitches, pull up dropped stitches, change stitch orientation on your needles, pick up stitches, use a crochet hook to fix stitches, and use a lifeline. You'll leave with a swatch where mistakes have been made and then fixed.

Come prepared: bring your own stockinette swatch for practicing — create one that's 6" wide, knit in stockinette stitch with 1" of garter stitch on each side and the bottom of the swatch.
