Learn to Knit Part 2: Stitch Patterns
Fri 9/15 & 9/22
This class is Part 2 of a series designed to ensure that our students have the same level of basic skills before moving on to our project classes. They're designed specifically to cover the fundamentals of beginning knitting such that a student will leave the series with the tools to tackle most intermediate projects.
This class is where the fun begins! You'll start your first project, a cowl, that has three distinct parts, each of which illustrates a different stitch pattern. You will also be learning how to knit in the round, an extremely valuable technique used in many, many projects. We'll also continue working on your muscle memory of the knit and purl stitches.
