Beginning Knitting - May '22

Learning to knit is fun, and it's easier than you might think. This class will teach you the basic skills you need to get started, whether you've never knit before, or if you just need a refresher. You'll learn how to set up to knit (cast on), form a knit stitch, form a purl stitch and bind off. Once you learn all this, you'll be able to start a simple project, a pretty wash cloth!

Skills Learned:  Casting on, forming a knit stitch, forming a purl stitch, binding off

 

Materials Required: Please come in at least 15-30 minutes prior to class to purchase your supplies and have your yarn wound.  You will need 1 skein of aran weight yarn (we suggest Quince & Co. Osprey in a light color) as well as a pair of size US 9 or 10 needles, either straight or circular.

 

All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
