Lucy Fingerless Mitts

The Lucy Mitts are soft and cozy fingerless gloves that feature a split rib pattern on the front as well as a gusseted thumb. This is a good project for beginners. The Magic Loop method will be taught in class to work these mitts in the round. You can use double-pointed needles, instead, if you prefer.

Instructor: Amy Wentley

Prerequisites: Comfortable beginner. You should know how to knit and purl well.

Homework: None

Skills Learned: Working in the round using the Magic Loop method, working a thumb gusset, increases and decreases.

Materials Required: Quince & Co, Chickadee (100% American wool; 181yd [166m]/50g), 1 skein / Note: Sample used the entire skein, consider ordering an extra skein to be safe. Be sure to pick out your yarn (we recommend choosing a light color or bright color) and have it wound before class starts. Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 24-inch circular needle.  You will also need a copy of the pattern (available for purchase in-store). Please come in at least 15-30 minutes prior to class to purchase your supplies and have your yarn wound.

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time.
