Ouzo’s effortless shape looks good over everything. Perfect for summer evenings (or air conditioning.) It’s mostly easy stockinette stitch, with a little bit of lace, shaping and pockets thrown in for fun. Choose any of our luscious DK yarns for this, but remember lace looks much better in a solid or tonal, rather than variegated colorway.
For your gauge swatch, cast on 29 sts, and work stockinette for about 4 inches. DON’T bind off, but put the stitches on a string. Measure your stitch AND row gauge before AND after blocking. At the first class, we’ll discuss adjusting if your gauge isn’t perfect and we’ll choose the size you will make.
Prerequisites: Appropriate for anyone but a true beginner. Rated 3 out of 10 on Ravelry’s difficulty scale.
