The tonal stripes in this elegant top are created by alternately using 1 strand and 2 strands held together. The fit is boxy and elegant. Anzula Cloud (currently on order; will be here in plenty of time for the class) is our choice for this. You might even want to experiment with two coordinating colors.
Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with basic knitting skills—knit, purl, cast on, bind off.
Homework: Work a gauge swatch just as described in the pattern and be sure to measure it, block it and measure it again. Bring all this information to the first class, even if your gauge isn’t exact and we will pick your preferred size at that time.
Skills Learned: sweater construction, following a pattern
Materials Required: Approximately 1236 to 1854 yards of lightweight fingering yarn. We recommend Anzula Cloud for this project. Size US 6, 32" circulars (or size needed to obtain gauge of 20 sts/4" with yarn held doubled). Copy of pattern is available for purchase in-store.
All class materials must be purchased from Warm n Fuzzy.
