Simple Scarf Crochet Class

Do you love the look of the viral Sophie Scarf, but want to make a crochet alternative?  Join us to learn how to crochet this fun accessory for the fall.  Customize the size of your scarf and add the border of your choosing to make it truly unique! 

This class is for a confident or advanced beginner crocheter, who is ready to apply basic stitches to a pattern.

All classes and lessons must be purchased online.

Prerequisites:  

• Chain (ch)
• Single Crochet (sc)
• Double Crochet (dc)
• Slip Stitch (sl)
• Turning work

Skills Learned:

• Increasing stitches
• Decreasing stitches
  
• Customizing scarf size

• Picking up stitches to add a border

   

Class Materials:

• One skein of Hedgehog Fibres Merino DK, purchased at Warm & Fuzzy
• 3.75mm and 4.0mm crochet hooks
• Measuring tape
• Tapestry needle
• Locking stitch markers

Homework:  Practice between class #1 and #2

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time. Warm 'n Fuzzy reserves the right to cancel any classes if less than 3 students sign up within 24 hours of the start time. If the class is canceled by Warm 'n Fuzzy, you will be refunded.
